Getting Started

A 10-minute orientation for a practice owner evaluating Alvero. No setup required to read this — it explains the system you'd be turning on.

What Alvero is

Alvero is an AI operating shell for dental practices. It is not a practice management system (PMS) and it does not replace Dentrix. It sits on top of the systems you already run and replaces the human bottleneck around them — the reporting, recall chasing, reconciliation, and the morning scramble — with a coordinated workforce of 14 AI agents.

How it connects

Alvero reads from your PMS and financial systems through their APIs. No flat-file exports, no rip-and-replace, no staff retraining.

The 14-agent workforce

Three coordinated tiers:

Full detail per agent is in the Agents reference; the system topology is in Architecture.

PHI safety

Human approval on every outbound PHI event. Two-way Messenger drafts and queues patient communication, but nothing containing protected health information sends without explicit staff sign-off. Every clinical output in Doctors Portal requires a doctor's approval. See the Security Model.
